Congratulations, the list is simple and yet very profound if it is followed. I am glad the article focuses on the fact that it takes a team to make things happen. No one can underestimate the helpfulness of family and friends. Network groups that are based solely upon numbers will not be able to give you the level of support you need to get you through the many agonizing months of self-evaluation and the job search. The article indicated that I was a “headhunter” which was incorrect as far as my title, but correct as to my desire to help you revamp your strategy. Although not mentioned in this article,you did have a great recruiter with Richelle Konian of www.careersonthemove.com.

No matter how talented the individual is, there can always be improvement. If something isn’t working you have to take it apart and make some readjustments to create a whole new marketing plan. You can’t lose track of core values in the process of change because ultimately that is what makes it timeless and meaningful.

The job for a coach is to facilitate and not overwhelm or drastically change a person and their information. When the final results are viewed, the client should still be able to identify themselves in the material and the process. When company personnel finish their interviews and evaluations of the client, they should be able to assess the character, mentality, personality and obviously their ability to perform the functions of the new position. There is absolutely no room for exaggeration within the process and no need for hype. Taking the analogy of product sales, you want them to walk away believing they have made a wise investment with many valuable returns in the hiring of you and not “buyer’s remorse.” I know that you and Weiser, LLP have made a good investment in serving each other. This is what we ultimately search for, not a job but management of a lifelong career. Our goal is that of mutual reward and satisfaction. The way in which my resumes for you and others have been structured, makes it easier to quantify these results.
