Happy New Year (Everything Will Be Better in 2009)

Hello Man,
you are now being a famous man all over the world. I read your story from a newspaper named dushikuaibao which is published in Hangzhou-zhejiang province in China.
It says that you have got a new job in a account company. Congradulations!
but I am really doulting here that did this crisis affect peoples like you with experiences and MIT grade?

Just saw your photo on the wsj site for memorable photos of 2008.  I commend you for your courage and thinking outside of the box.
Hopefully you found another position...
Regards,

hey ~ i am a 18-year-old chinese girl. i saw your mail address from a picture of you in a financial magazine. in the picture, you stood in the street with a "paper cloth" which for hiring. by the way, it is really a clever and creative way for hiring. i think you are  a typical MIT student cause you are creative i think through the pic.
i just wanna say good luck and happy New Year! everything will be better in 2009!
p.s i wanna go to MIT to get a MBA degree in the future. so good luck to both of us.

Gosh, that certainly is great news! Your creativity paid off!
Did they find you as the result of someone seeing your sign board? It showed great creativity and it reminded me of a time when the legendary Bette Davis took out a full page ad, with only her picture, where it read: "5 time Academy Award Winner seeks work". She was able to find work that same year and went on to earn more awards.
I am recently unemployed, and am a Financial Service employee in the DC suburbs of Virginia.
When we lived in New York, there were so many professional choices and opportunities. Now there are far fewer (the market and the DC area's focus is Government) and I am considering a switch from the wholesale level where I spent over a decade - My husband is at FreddieMac, but so far, he's OK, employment wise.
Please wish me luck -
By the way, the photo of you could be enlarged to the size of a French travel poster and framed prominently in your home - It's not every day a creative strategy makes the World and domestic news. Also, it's interesting to bring out that you are in accounting, but that doesn't mean you're not a creative thinker!
Best to you, and again, we cheer your success!
Arlington, Virginia
